Briskly walking by, the students of Queens College have long acknowledged its food carts and trucks as an everyday normal – growing accustomed to the enticing smells emanating from the food carts positioned in the same spot as they were the day before. The food trucks, though they can drive onto the campus, are often located outside and around the perimeter of Queens College. Each food cart and truck has a set place in Queens College so that students may know where to find the place that sells the food they want. With a variance of choices, it is up to the customer to choose what they want to eat – whether it be a burger, a sandwich, a hotdog, waffles, or anything else.

Queens College students are faced with a choice on a daily basis: to buy and eat something from a food cart or get their food elsewhere; to be, or not to be, that is the question.
What the typical Queens College student sees when they speed walk out of Kiely Hall, on their way to the next building where their class will be held.
A food truck selling pancakes that made the decision to drive onto Queens College campus; the reason possibly being that they believed they would get more customers that way.
A food cart is positioned near the far right entrance of Queens College, serving specifically Halal food. With the diversity in the ethnicities and religions of Queens College students, it is profitable to sell such food.
